Knytt Stories Third Party Level: “Don’t Eat The Mushroom”

Wasn’t Knytt Stories fun? Nifflas hasn’t compiled a new third party expansion pack just yet, but there are quite a few candidates for it popping up over on his forums. Here’s one that I really liked: UncleSporky’s funny and imaginative “”http://nifflas.ni2.se/forum/index.php?topic=1451.0">Don’t Eat The Mushroom". It may only be a couple of minutes long, but if you’re anything like me, chances are you’ll be playing through it twice!

If you want to try a few more third party levels, Nifflas’s list of favourites might be a good place to start. And feel free to post your favourites in the comments! (or plug your own mod, that’s cool too :) )

The message board part was brilliant and showed some serious craftsmanship!

The mushroom pretense weakened it for me a little though. You should require no such plot excuse for madness.

I have no idea if i beat Knytt stories or not… I turned of the machein and nothing seemed to happen….

You have to leave the room after you turn it on. The Knytt Stories levels don’t end until they send you back to the menu.

Another for my list of favorites!

So far I like all of Nifflas’s expansion levels, jeppo’s Return to the Luminous City, Panda’s Scrolly Polly, Quincent Cartographer’s A Walk at Night, and dessgeega’s Torchlight.

I just played “Return to the Luminous City” today, it’s excellent. One of my favourites so far!

“Trek” is next on my list – it seems to be among almost everyone’s favourites.

I didn’t know dessgeega had designed a level – I’ll have to check that out, thanks :)

Her levels are quite interesting! I actually preferred “Under the Crack” to “Torchlights”, though. That four colour thing makes it pretty distinctive.
