Hero Core Trailer

This has been posted everywhere already, but it’s just so rad I can’t help myself!

Hero Core is the next game from Iji creator Daniel Remar, due out May 1st. Sequel to his retro-inspired action/adventure Hero, it features an open map, a bunch of secrets, multiple difficulties and modes (that even change the layout of the game), an alternate “retro” language setting, and “up to two colors simultaneously!” Well, right on!

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE: DESTROY CRUISER TETRON ONCE MORE

Very impressive trailer, just as with Iji. I’m getting a serious Metroid vibe from it(trailer and game, which I view as a positive. Looks fun, I wonder if there will be a dx color version?

That’s what retro developers need to start doing is making commercials of kids fighting over the controller and wowing at the graphics, like old Atari / Nintendo commercials.

That and trippy box cover art that has nothing to do with the game itself. God I miss the old days!
