It plays amazing. I hope they fill in the level design a bit more by the time the final version is released though.

It is completely awesome. Must have been so much work!

I love it, though the dungeons can use some more work.

Half a minute in and I got stuck inside the walls.  I love the art and animation though, gonna go back and try again.

Art is nice, bit boring though.

It’s not that I don’t WANT to download this demo… it’s just that, why would I play something that’s exactly the same as minecraft and cave story?

  • YetanotherguyIam

Ok, I installed this, and it doesn’t work anyway. It even made me “repair” the window’s framework, hope this thing didn’t break anything important… I run the game and it gives the “send report” thing

  • YetanotherguyIam

    ok, made it work.

Here’s a tip: If it asks you to restart, click on NO! This things installs a couple of things, if you make it restart, it wont resume after restart. After the framework and the xna thing are installed, THEN restart.

    why even play video games?

Downloading it now, can’t wait to check it out. The art alone is reason for me to play it, not to mention the fact that it’s a platformer that clearly wasn’t half-assed like most these days.

Same here.  I just went under the platform where the first cut scene is triggered, and triggering it dropped me into negative space so I had to quit and start again.

I was skeptical at first because it’s hard to appreciate all the cool art when I’m compelled to shoot every living thing I come across or die (and it’s pretty darn easy to die).  However, it does get pretty epic with all the bosses near the end there.  This is a great demo and it really left me wanting more.

I don’t like that viewport scaling, ruins the good pixelart :(

  • Nicholas Retallack

Idk.  I thought it was kinda cool.  Reminds me of LucasArts Adventure games.

  • Phubans

    Beat me to it.

Scaling and controls are a minus, but it’s pretty fun anyway. Might pick this up when it comes out.
