In fact, it’s been so long, it took me about 30 minutes to finally successfully log in to the site. I blame it on the TDC Xmas compo I’ve been judging (The compo that MGS: Secret Santa and many others were made for). But even with this big ole’ ball of mush in my skull, I’ve still managed to dig up a game or two for you.

The first one is a charming little game that goes by the name of Maze of Galious Remake, a remake of an older MSX/NES game. MoGR is my first contact with this game in any form, and it’s quite a bit of fun. The basic premise is that the big evil demon guy stole your little kid (You adventure as a Husband/Wife pair in this game), locked him up in a big maze, and brought all his goons out to mess up your day. The gameplay is best described as a mix of Zelda and Metroid with a bit of the old school NES styled flair. It’s addictive and fun; I highly recommend this game as it comes in Windows, Linux, and OSX flavors.

The last game I bring you is a standard THRUST style game. This one goes by the name of Super Transball 2, and is also made by Braingames. Pilot your ship through 15 levels of gravity defying fun while trying to avoid getting shot, as you hunt for the magic sphere of end level. I’m not quite sure how else to describe it, besides, you should be familiar with THRUST anyway. Thrust kicks ass.

Till next time…

Hm, interesting posts. Regardless, it’s good to see some stuff that’s universal in regards to platform.

It’s also interesting at how often THRUST is getting mentioned lately…
