I’ll just copy the Retro Remakes post for this one.

Well the waiting is finally over… Ovine have released their latest game (their second FreeScape remake) which is non other than Driller. The game came out on a myriad of formats (ZX Spectrum, Commodore 64, Amstrad CPC, Atari ST, Commodore Amiga, IBM PC) so if you haven’t heard of it then you must have been living in a dark and damp cave for the last couple of decades.

I just learnt something new about the original too… According to wikipedia it was called Space Station Oblivion on it’s US release. Fancy that! If you ask me it doesn’t have quite the same succinct ring to it, but hey oh.

Why on Mitral are you reading this waffle anyway? A lot of you have been chewing at the bit and foaming at the mouth waiting to get hold of it, so go download it already! – Caff

Should be an item of interest to Cholo fans or anyone who has fond memories of the original.
