You're picking on that particular joke, which is a single “internet meme” joke that occupies a few seconds within an 82 second video. Does the video get no credit for the part where the WHOLE THING is a reference to the style of the 90s? A time before the WWW, and when the Internet was still an underground thing? The other “joke” is “hella tight” which is not just an attempt to say a silly phrase, it too is a comment on the 90s, where slang of the day like “radical” was used constantly in advertising targeted at kids.

TIGsource loves quirky little platformers (currently, Super Meat Boy and Fez) and “celebrity” developers. It has always loved quirky little platformers and celebrity developers. If you'll look to your right, “Platformers” and “Community” are the two biggest news categories other than “Windows”.

So why do people come in here and go “ARGH STOP TALKING ABOUT QUIRKY LITTLE PLATFORMERS AND CELEBRITY DEVELOPERS” as if they think that's actually going to happen? There are tons of excellent indie gaming blogs with a broader focus–again, conveniently listed to your right. You know what you're gonna find at TIGsource. You're always gonna hate it.
