    God I hate furries.

  • Eagle0600

Wow. Bigoted AND off topic. You sure you didn't also want to eat a baby or two on air?

  • Guest

Look at the video: anthropomorphic animals.  And hating furries is not bigoted.  Augh, please.

Looks like it could be the ultimate version of breakout.  I approve!

    Game looks great!

This does look absolutely lovely! I'm interested to see if the mechanics are as good as the appearance.

Gonna pull out the ol' “bugs bunny/mickey mouse, egyptian/aztec/asian gods, teddy bears, and lots of other everyday things” card; combination is one of the purest forms of creativity.  People have been making imagery like this for millions of years; it's in our blood.

More to the point:  quit all ya hatin' and ya judgin', and don't say nasty things on our website unless they're relevant criticisms.

Breakout typically doesn't flip my trigger too much, but the addition of RPG elements makes it seem a bit more enticing.  And you've gotta love the Mega Drive-era art style.  Who knows–I might lose some productivity to this down the road.  :)

this is a very interesting idea

Is this the new “ripoff of Minecraft” style comment?

    Yes, it is off-topic.

  • Guewt

Give him credit: at least he didn't say god hates furries.

  • Not a furry

    Actually it kind of is.

    I like it!

This has already been done. It was called Firestriker, and it was for the SNES.

If Paul Robertson is involved no wonder it looks wonderful already.

Also, really nice old school vibe, does anybody know what system's color pallete and graphics this is trying to emulate, if any?

  • Haberdasher

Paul Robertson is a pixel art god

Too bad breakout games are boring as shit

  • Theon

    Your stupidity is baffling.
Have you ever played and enjoyed Spyro, Crash Bandicoot, Banjo Kazooie, Sonic, Donkey Kong, Star Fox, Sly, Ratchet & Clank, Beyond Good & Evil or Croc?
Yes? Well, according to your world-view, I have bad news for you, son.

  • renkin

    They are not!

Been following this since I saw the first mockup a few years back… Great to finally see it in motion!  And the RPG stuff comes as a really nice surprise.

  • Guest

Not sure I'd completely call it part “rpg”. As there no actual level/exp gaining. Just item & gold acquiring it seems. Either way it DOES look good and I hope we get to hear a release date soon^^

  • Nyon

Ah, yes. I saw the mock-up of this on the forums back in the days. Love to see it actually WAS an real game!

  • Hondo

Why?  What did furries ever do to you?

  • Eagle0600

I would rather say I wouldn't call it part RPG because there is no choice (see: Deus Ex, Elder Scrolls, anything by Bioware).

This looks wonderful.  I can't wait to try it out.
