God I hope this trend of stylised/geometric graphics will be over soon.

I tried to record it using my crummy PC, but the quality was shot. It’s bloody good work, cactus should be paying you guys for it. ;)

    Um… isn’t it already embedded?

  • ryan in exile

    oops. my bad.

  • Albert Lai

I just wish there was an option to turn off the music in the game >_>

what?! the thailand music is awesome!!

The game, on the other hand, is a series of interesting design decisions masked by even more really bad design decisions.
The menu is pretty horrible to navigate, and the GAME OVER screen can’t be skipped. Together with a very high level of difficulty, this makes for an intensely frustrating experience.
On the subject of difficulty (which, due ot the freely-chosen level order, has no sort of organized progression from Easy to Hard), the hardest parts of the game come not from the bullet patterns or fiendish enemies, but from the confusing game mechanics and the poor visibility. Your ship and the enemy bullets are so small that if something explodes near you, it becomes temporarily impossible to see anything, which can lead to a lot of cheap deaths.

Alan: Clean Asia – Casual Version coming soon, just for you. ;)

This dude made four games in the same number of months…

Thumbs up for the Thailand tune!

Don’t diss the game! It’s innovative in graphics, music and gameplay. Very avant guard decisions. Thumbs up for making a bold choice, which really pays off if you invest the time. When I first beat Thailand, that was a real accomplishment, game wise. Keep it up cactus, those in the know appreciate your work.

I must agree, not being able to skip the game over screen is quite annoying. But still, the music is bloody awesome (thumbs up for Thailand), so the music guy deserves every second of recognition he can get.

Other than that, I love this game. It feels really solid, and I like how the two pilots offer completely different play types.
