Halloween Harry

Master Chief, you never stood a chance. Duke Nukem who? For me, the ultimate gaming badass was always Halloween “Mothafuckin” Harry. This guy was so into killing aliens and saving babes that he didn’t even have time to develop a personality. Case in point, when debriefed on the alien situation on Earth, and asked if he has any questions, Harry only has one thing on his mind:

“What kind of weapons do I get?”

I feel like if you asked Harry if he wanted to grab a bite to eat at McDonald’s he’d ask you the same question. Here’s the download page – it ran okay (a bit choppy) on XP.

Amen. Halloween Harry kicked ass. I remember playing this one from some Platinum Shareware Collection or something.

Someone showed me a shot of Halloween Harry for the Microbee and told me that he kicked more ass on a green and black screen. Whatever the hell a Microbee is.

Okay, I just have to say that this is awesome. I played this game back in the early nineties, Shareware, and I loved it.
I’m so glad they have it like this!

Yes, he kicked a lot of ass.

HELL YAYAH!! I’ve been waiting for this to go FW for ever!

Awesome! I think I have the original floppies for this somewhere back home. I remember playing this on shareware, and it is indeed awesome.

This is one of those underground classics that doesn’t get a lot of modern attention, because its themes are so…ubiquitous. I mean: “Aliens, chicks, and a guy with lots of guns” sounds like the game design idea for a billion games.

    But this one had *craftsmanship.*

Oh man I wasted so much time playing this game, more games should have flamethrowers and jetpacks.

  • Nikica

The best thing that can happen to a shareware game, sadly is only that it don’t happens often, anyway i never played it but i will try it and it look awesome !!!

To anyone who couldn’t run this game as smoothly as they’d like:

    – install dosbox
    – put dosbox shortcut on your desktop
    – drag the .exe of the game onto that shortcut
    – now press ctrl + F12 repeatedly to increase CPU cycles used. Increase until it runs smoothly :)
