Cactus is, frankly, my favourite indie developer at the moment. This game reeks style, and it smells good.

Cactus has done that before :) Back when clean Asia was released someone noted that “Asia should be written, “a ji a” in katakana, not eishia.” – his response was that to say that “As for the spelling error, it’s on purpose. I study Japanese at the local university, actually. I figured I’d pay tribute to the wonderful engrish present in so many asian games, by putting some naihongou (or whatever you’d call bad Japanese) in it. “

keep losing my player in the background, but it seems solid. i don’t like how unpredictable the missiles become when they go off the bottom of the screen. i always get hit from below while dodging bullets.

Well this game is amazing.. again. I don’t really like the shield, although its more original than absorb i guess, but anyways, absorb gameplay > shield for me.

wtf? after I died it froze up with some freaky replay, and then it wouldn’t shut down and screwed up my screen resolution. Not exactly user friendly. Anyway I prefer simpler stuff like MSOIDS to this.

I think the absorb mode would be a lot more interesting if you couldn’t absorb and shield at the same time, it really ruins the gameplay as the red energy balls become completly harmless and servers as nothing more than eye-candy.
