The Indie Love Bundle

Hey y’all, just a day and change left to grab The Indie Love Bundle! That’s “six award-winning indie games valued at $85 for the low cost of $20.” The low, low cost. I hope my mom’ll let me use the credit card…

The games you will soon be playing are, alphabetically: And Yet It Moves, Auditorium, Aztaka, Eufloria, Machinarium, and Osmos. All of which are excellent. (Actually, I’ve yet to play Aztaka, but it looks pretty sweet?)

Tell your friends! Tell your enemies!

I wanna say “do your part” or whatever, but if you get this you’re making out like a bandit.

Darn I already own 4 out of 6 of these. And eufloria won’t work on either of my computers.

For the record I thought Aztaka was a really sweet game, if a bit easy near the end.

Anyone know who did the music for this demo? I just watched the video three times in a row, but I’d like to hear more…

The song is from the Machinarium soundtrack, called “Gameboy Tune” and composed by Tomas Dvorak. You can listen to it and some other songs from the OST at the official blog. I’ve included a link, just click my name :)

the music is “Gameboy Tune” from Machinarium Soundtrack composed by Tomas Dvorak.

Going to get this today before the promotion ends. The only game I have out of the six is And Yet it Moves, and I certainly don’t mind having a bit more money going the way of the developers of a game I enjoyed so much :)

  • MasterGH

Just a heads up, you can individually gift games from the bundle to other people, so I gave And Yet it Moves to a friend.

My problem with this is the same as I have with some other bundles I’ve seen: There’s some really good stuff, and some stuff that looks utterly rubbish. If this were a big, comercial project, I wouldn’t mind. But, because it’s an indie project, I think “Sure it’s a good deal, but a big part of the motivation behind my purchase is going to support a developer I like, do I really want that donation split 6 ways and go to 5 other douches?”. With that in mind, I’m going to ignore this bundle, and buy Mechanarium outright.

alex may is not a douche

Dzzk: I actually thought the opposite. I don’t own any of the six included games and probably won’t buy the bundle either, but still I think each of the games is at least “good” and they make a great bundle together. Of course, Machinarium is easily by far the most appreciated one of the games, but I don’t think of any of them as “fillers” which only serve the purpose of increasing the number of included games.

  • Anthony Flack

I already have a copy of Eufloria, and I was going to buy Machinarium anyway, so this was really just a good opportunity to pick up some other games for free.

The time limit was a good incentive to finally get around to it.

  • Jad

I’d buy Machinarium alone for 20$

so I feel this bundle is worth the money
