Botanicula

Botanicula is the latest adventure game from Amanita Design, the creators of the Samorost series and Machinarium. It was released today as part of a Humble Bundle that includes all of their titles, but you can also purchase the game from GOG.com.

Amanita Design’s style makes me feel giddy. I feel like the Czech in general have this awesomely weird artistic sense. The first thing I saw in Prague: giant babies crawling up the Žižkov TV tower.

I feel that Amanita kinda blundered on this. GOG did a lot of heavy marketing for Botanicula, only to be usurped by the Humble Bundle on release day. People with preorders kinda got screwed by this deal.
