Remember Stalin Vs. Martians? This kitschy, bizarre real-time strategy game for people “who just hates the strategy genre” is coming out today via Direct2Drive and Gamersgate delayed until later in the month. SvM features fast-paced strategy with no base-building or tech trees, a giant-sized version of communist leader Joseph Stalin, and a very eclectic soundtrack that includes Hong Kong twee and Russian glam-rock. For some reason it was also developed by 3 separate Russian studios… oookay!
The game’s $15.95 pre-order discount is apparently still in effect until day’s end the game’s release (down from $19.95).
