JIG: Casual Games of 2006

Jay is Games is finishing off 2006 with a look at the top casual games of the year (from a slew of categories). As to be expected from those guys, it’s a really well-done affair, and all the nominated games seem deserving to be there. Anyone in the casual scene should thank these guys, because they make it seem pretty cool!

How about Arsecast doing a special 10-minute edition containing only an essay on the phenomenon of casual gaming. That’d be an interesting listen :)

Note to knee-jerk casual bashers: 98% of JIG content is neither bubble-popper, nor jewel-swapper, nor diner-mopper. They highlight real puzzle games, and good IF, and wildly creative stuff. Respek.
