Here’s an absolutely different take on the issue, the approach adopted by one of the Slamdance Finalists. As a participant of the event, Jason has first-hand experience from the entire situation and there’s no better place to keep up yourself updated besides this link.

Plus, if you scroll all the way down there’s a note from the Slamdance Games organizer himself. Click here to read the interview with Danny Ledonne, the creator of SCMRPG. Conducted by Jason Rohrer.

Jonathan Blow’s “Yes, but” response to the “absolutely different take” seems to be spot-on.

I doubt “first-hand experience from the entire situation” means much here; it seems everything ‘experienced’ has just been public communication over the Internet.

Does anyone really care about all this stuff? I personally never ever heard about the slamdance festival before and after constantly hearing about this “controvercy” for weeks now hasnt really boosted my interest.

I appreciate the interest of affected parties but outside of participants does anyone really care? I know I dont.
