awesome little game. a good length too, not too epic, not too twee.

    AAhrgh!
    It’s HARD!

    Also, beautiful as can be!

Haha! That’s the reason why it’s free now. I played the demo one year ago: “Why should I buy the fullversion when I’m not even able to play through the demo?!” Hard as fuck!

I suggest picking up Stencyl and porting it to flash.

He seems really hard on himself. His ratings on his games are 2, 1, and 1 stars each? I quite liked Arvoesine, I’d give it a 3/5 at worst.

    Really lovely game.
    Stuff I love:
    – the “easy” setting… which still is really a challenge.   Thanks for letting the less skillful of us enjoy more of the content.
    – how polished the graphic is. Spotless little spite and animations.    You can see every pixel was carefully placed with love.
    – the nice “die = inflate and explode” concept, and    the fact that it is consistently maintained though all the game. Class! Style!
    – the smooth and interesting gameplay. Fun to play.    Spearing things feels so accomplishing that you want to play again.
    – gameplay again: that for some reason the outcome is not so predictable.   (chance is not involved, I think, but tiny timing variations in what you do   determines that *this* time the cat will jump over the spikes, not on them).
Makes it feel complex and alive.
    – gameplay again: a nice array of enemies with different behavior requiring different
strategies (bosses and smaller enemy alike).

Sorry that you had to give up making 5$ out of each copy.
It is just too small for that. Not that it is not worth 5$, or that you wouldn’t deserve it.
It’s just not the kind of game you spend for on a PC. It is just the way it is.
Thanks for understanding and giving it for free!
Now I need to go and try to reach Lvl 4 again!

He should have thrown it into a Humble Indie Bundle first, at least.
