Nintendo’s advent calendar/flash game Mission in Snowdriftland is simple and fun and extremely cute. God, that snowman is just adorable, amirite?

    It’s so sugary that it makes my teeth ache.

    It gets worse after the first area, as it has penguins dressed as woodland animals.

    To me this is indie mostly because it’s a Nintendo platformer with horrible controls, which is not what they usually do. Though it’s probably because my computer is so slow; all things Flash equals no-no. Like running Doom 3 on a C64.

    It could be important to note that this game wasn’t developed by Nintendo, but by the company they hired for the whole “calendar”, Extra Toxic.
