Sunny Day Sky

A new Orisinal game, hurrah! Sunny Day Sky is another incredibly endearing, life-affirming project from the mind of Ferry Halim (gad, what must it be like in there?). In the game you control a small bear ~~who’s~~ whose goal is to fly over as many cars as possible with his umbrella. By opening and closing your “brolly” you can catch some serious air. And catching tomatoes will let you stay afloat longer.

The game opens itself up to some serious combo/multiplier action. In my last game I netted nearly 500,000 points on a single jump, but it’s definitely very possible to go way, way higher! I think if the game ramped up in difficulty a bit faster, it’d be perfect.

Perfect eample of a minigame done right. Great art, great music, and great gameplay.

I think vacation agencies would make quite the profit selling trips to Ferry Halim’s mind.

Perfect game. I could easily play that for ever, and i think the difficulty ramp is perfect, after all its not designed for hardcore nintendo freaks :P

I don’t think I’d ever have the patience to score 500,000 points period, let alone on a single jump. My high score is only about 37,000.

This game is really delightful to play.

Just a quick note on <3

Do you rotate it 90 degrees clockwise or counterclockwise. One way it's a hear, the other way it represents teabagging.

Pfft. I just realized you get way more points for landing on a car while still floating, as opposed to dropping down with your umbrella closed/getting hit by a bird.

It’s really jarring to see the little bear jog for a moment and come to a stop completely unharmed when he hits the ground. Some nice gibs or pain sfx would’ve made for a smoother experience.

Radix : No it wouldn’t. Cheap gibs is the realm of cheap flash game and it stopped being funny or cool quite some time ago.
