After 7 years of development, Ville and Anne Mönkkönen have released Driftmoon, an adventure/role-playing game set in a charming and colorful fantasy world. The game comes with development tools that you can use to create and share mods. Also, a large demo is available to try out and includes the full editor.

You might remember Ville as the creator of the survival game Notrium from 2003.

Driftmoon Demo Released

Anne and Ville Mönkkönen have released a demo for their upcoming RPG Driftmoon, which is nearing completion (a “few months”, according to the website). Previously, the game was only playable as a preorder.

The demo of Driftmoon comes with a full-featured editor and all of the currently available mods. If you enjoy it, you can still preorder for access to the alpha.

Driftmoon Available For Pre-Order

Ville Mönkkönen, the creator of the cult-hit survival game Notrium, has announced that his latest game, Driftmoon, is available for pre-order at €11.99 (20% off the final price). People who pre-order will get access to the alpha version of the RPG, the game’s editor for making mods, and all the updates thereafter. The latest build adds a new adventure to the playable preview that was released nearly a year ago (since taken down).

According to the announcement, Driftmoon is still some months away from release.
