Stalin Vs. Martians: Delayed

Remember Stalin Vs. Martians? This kitschy, bizarre real-time strategy game for people “who just hates the strategy genre” is ~~coming out today via Direct2Drive and Gamersgate~~ delayed until later in the month. SvM features fast-paced strategy with no base-building or tech trees, a giant-sized version of communist leader Joseph Stalin, and a very eclectic soundtrack that includes Hong Kong twee and Russian glam-rock. For some reason it was also developed by 3 separate Russian studios… oookay!

The game’s $15.95 pre-order discount is apparently still in effect until ~~day’s end~~ the game’s release (down from $19.95).

GamersGate and Direct2Drive both list it as preorder.

IndieGames.com ran a story about an hour ago it being delayed.

Thats one weird video. They probably thought people might watch it if they had a girl dancing in it. Would of been nice if she was good looking or older.

But that game looks good. Not sure if I’ll buy it though.

It’s probably not a hooker – more like a lure for pedos. You have to target all audiences nowadays.

Also, it would be nice if Stalin was a super-unit who could actually participate in destroying Martian scum. Or, wait, maybe you play as Martians suffering from the Red Scare?
